Prospective Teachers

Thank you for your interest in teaching in the Winters Joint Unified School District. The Winters School District serves approximately 1,500 students in grades K-12. Our students are from the community of Winters and surrounding rural areas in Yolo County and a small northern portion of Solano County. Our staff and school enjoy strong community support. Are You Interested in Working as a Classroom Instructional Aide?

Take our proficiency test today! The proficiency test is not necessary for holders of either an AA or a BA/BS from an accredited college and/or university.

The proficiency test consists of reading, writing and mathematics questions through the 9th grade level (i.e. Algebra). The test takes approximately one to two hours in length and is available by appointment only.
