COVID-19 testing and vaccination are two of the most important actions we can take to prevent the spread of the virus and its variants.
Winters Joint Unified School District is partnering with COVID Clinic to offer rapid antigen testing to students, families, staff and community members.
If you have symptoms or if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, get tested—even if you are vaccinated. While the risk is fairly low, it is possible to get infected if you are vaccinated. Testing helps limit the spread of COVID-19 in our schools and keep our students, staff, families, and community safe.
WHY: People in Winters—including young people—continue to test positive, most often with one of the highly contagious COVID-19 variants. Testing is quick, painless and free, and it’s available at school sites throughout our district.
